Lower Mainland, B.C. / Twenty years in construction
Contract businessdevelopment forconstruction & trades.
Sales and networking on contract for Lower Mainland companies that want to grow but are not at the point of hiring a business development person. We build the pipeline, make the introductions, and chase the next stage of growth while you run the business.
01 Why Pantheon
Most contractors know growth does not happen by accident. They go without a business development resource, not because they do not need one, but because they are too busy running the business to build it. Pantheon is that resource, without the overhead.
The Pantheon has stood for nearly two thousand years because its structure was right before it was beautiful. That is the standard we hold for the businesses we work with: get the foundation and the load-bearing pillars correct, and growth stops being fragile.
There is a traditional growth-consulting industry, and we do that work well. But almost nobody in the Lower Mainland offers contract business development: the actual sales and networking, done for you, for companies that are not yet at the point of hiring someone. That is the gap Pantheon fills.
Engagements are scoped to the problem: a strategic business audit, a build-out phase, or an ongoing seat at the table. Business development consulting and construction process improvement are built around your business, not a template.

03 Three ways to get the help
Full-time hire, generic consultant, or Pantheon.
Owners usually weigh the same three options. Here is how they compare on the things that matter to a contractor looking for contractor growth consulting.
04 Approach
Two tracks. One standard.
Connections is contract business development: sales, networking and contractor matchmaking for companies that want more of the right work. Consulting is for owners who want the business to run better. Many clients use both.
Connections
Client-contractor matching through our growing trade partner network. Contractor matchmaking is performance-based only, with flexible terms designed to fit most needs.
The work starts before the introduction. We clarify what you do best, what capacity you actually have, and which clients you serve well, so every strategic introduction is aimed at the right fit instead of the nearest one. Construction industry networking with a purpose, not a mixer.
If we do not deliver the right connection, you do not pay.
- 01
Meet & Align
We clarify your goals, capacity, and the clients you serve best so every introduction is aimed at the right fit. This is where we learn what a good project looks like for you, and what a bad one costs.
- 02
Introduce & Support
We make introductions to qualified potential clients, including subcontractor networking with general contractors who need your trade, and stay with you through onboarding, bidding, and early project setup. Scope definition and terms coordination are handled with you, not left to you.
- 03
Work Performed
The project is executed with the quality and reliability that earns repeat business and strong referrals. Our reputation rides on every match, so we stay reachable during delivery.
- 04
Ongoing Relationship Management
We check in on outcomes, keep the relationship healthy, resolve issues between parties, and look for the next right opportunity.
Consulting
Trades business development and construction consulting built around your business, not a template. We help you build the construction sales strategy to get where you are going, tighten operations so commercial construction growth does not break what is already working, and stay in the loop to review, adjust, and keep it moving.
Recommendations come with a name against them and a date beside them, written so your team can act without us in the room.
A fix that only works while we are in the room is not a fix.
- 01
Listen & Assess
Business diagnostics first. Workflow mapping, a systems review, root cause analysis, and a look at the numbers usually show that the presenting problem and the actual problem are not the same thing.
- 02
Design the Plan
Strategic problem-solving in writing: a sequenced plan with owners, timelines, and clear cost, so your team can act on it. Nothing in it depends on a consultant being present to work.
- 03
Build Alongside
We stay in the work until process, tools, and people stick. That can mean a fractional operations seat, field supervision, training, or simply being on the phone when the plan meets reality.
- 04
Review & Adjust
We measure what changed and tighten what did not hold. A third-party business evaluation each quarter and monthly check-ins keep the improvements from drifting back to how things were.
05 Ninety-second business health check
Tell us where the business is stuck.
A quick business bottleneck identification. Pick everything that sounds familiar and we will point you at the pillar that usually fixes it. No email required, nothing is stored.
Select what applies
Your answers map to one of the five pillars. Most owners select from two or three, and that is normal. Growth barriers and operational roadblocks usually arrive together.

Founder20
07 The founder
Who you'll work with.
Joshua spent 20 years in construction before calling himself a consultant, most of it in the trenches, from the field up, observing what worked and what didn't. That is the construction consulting he offers now: an outside perspective from someone who has been inside.
Recently he turned around a division that was bleeding money and had nearly been written off. Spearheading its rebirth meant rebuilding the operations, the strategy, the relationships, the foundation. The division didn't just survive. It grew into a large acquisition piece for a bigger corporation.
That experience taught him something most contractors know but rarely have time to act on: growth doesn't happen by accident. It takes strategy, discipline, and someone dedicated to chasing it. Joshua started Pantheon Strategic to be that resource, without the overhead.
Pantheon was the home of the gods who shaped outcomes, not just watched them unfold. That's the standard this firm is held to, for every contractor who's too busy building to also be chasing the next deal.

10 Questions owners ask
Before the first call.
Straight answers to what usually comes up. If yours is not here, the first conversation is free and there is no script.
How does contractor matchmaking pricing work?
Contractor matchmaking is performance-based only, with flexible terms designed to fit most needs. If we do not deliver the right connection, you do not pay.
What is contract business development?
Sales and networking done for you on a contract basis. Someone prospecting, following up, building relationships and turning conversations into contracts, without the salary, benefits and overhead of a full-time hire. It is built for companies that want to grow but are not at the point of hiring a business development person in-house.
What does the first conversation look like?
A straightforward one: what you are trying to build, what is slowing it down, and whether we are the right people to help. No obligation, no script.
How are engagements scoped?
To the problem. A business assessment, a build-out phase, or an ongoing seat at the table. Business development consulting and operational work are built around your business, not a template.
What is a business assessment?
An objective business review by someone outside the company. We look at pipeline, operations, margins, and people, name the growth barriers, and hand you a written strategic business audit you can act on with or without us.
Who is Pantheon Strategic for?
Small and mid-sized contractors and business owners, mostly in the Lower Mainland, who want to grow but are not at the point of hiring a full-time business development person, and are too busy running the business to chase the next stage of growth themselves.
What is fractional leadership?
An interim or part-time COO, Head of Operations, or similar role, plus temporary or part-time field supervision, without the overhead of a full-time hire.
Do you work outside the Lower Mainland?
Yes. The core network is in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley, and engagements are taken across B.C. and Canada where the fit is right.
Will you tell us if we do not need you?
Yes. Plain speech is a founding value. We say what we see, including when the answer is that you do not need us.
What happens after the plan is delivered?
We stay in the work until process, tools, and people stick, then measure what changed and tighten what did not hold. A fix that only works while we are in the room is not a fix.
11 Start a conversation
Let's build
the business.
Business development consulting starts with a conversation, not a proposal. The first one is straightforward: what you are trying to build, what is slowing it down, and whether we are the right people to help. No obligation, no script.
